ACC Covered Care

1. What is ACC?

ACC (Accident Compensation Corporation) helps cover treatment costs if you’ve been injured in an accident — whether at work, home, playing sport, or on the road.

2. Can Chiropractic Care Be Covered by ACC?

Yes! Chiropractic is ACC-registered. If your injury is related to an accident, part of your consultation and adjustment fees may be subsidised by ACC.

3. Do I Need a GP Referral?

No referral needed — chiropractors are primary healthcare providers. We can lodge your ACC claim directly at the clinic.

4. How Does It Work?

  • At your first visit, we’ll assess your injury and help you complete the ACC claim form.

  • Once accepted, your care can be provided under ACC cover.

  • You’ll just need to pay the small surcharge.

5. What Injuries Can Be Covered?

  • Sports injuries
